A First Look at the 2023 Ford Bronco

February 7th, 2023 by

For off-road adventures with a group of friends or family, look no further than the 2023 Ford Bronco, a popular fan-favorite that’s received some impressive upgrades. Along with two new retro trims, Heritage and Heritage Limited, the 2023 edition offers standard four-wheel drive, multiple design options, and plenty of tech features to make both road trips and journeys through nature more memorable.

Capabilities

Three powerful engines and two transmission options, a seven-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic, are offered with this edition. The base engine is a turbocharged 2.3-liter that produces 300 horsepower, while the intermediate engine, a twin-turbo 2.7-liter, offers 330 horses. Then there’s the third option, a twin-turbocharged 418-horsepower 3.0-liter, which is a standard issue for the Raptor trim.

Taking this vehicle through backwoods trails has never been easier, thanks to many features that come standard with the four-wheel-drive powertrain. This includes both H.O.S.S., an off-road suspension system, and G.O.A.T. Modes, a terrain-conquering system that quickly adjusts the vehicle to changing surface conditions.

Design

With both two- and four-door designs available, this edition accommodates as many as five passengers in the larger models and offers cloth, marine-grade vinyl, or leather-trimmed seating in its many trims, as well as vintage plaid seats in both the Heritage and Heritage Limited editions.

To make room for both passengers and cargo, there’s an available 50/50 split-folding seat for two-door models and a 60/40 seat with the four-door design.

Outside, there are both soft and hard-top roof options, as well as an available heavy-duty modular front bumper, which not only protects the grille when driving off-road but also allows you to attach lighting accessories or winches to it.

Technology

SYNC 4, the Bronco’s infotainment system, offers cloud-based connectivity so that you can access apps, navigation assistance, and SiriusXM satellite radio channels from virtually anywhere, and you can control the system using either your voice or your fingers.

When scrolling through music playlists with the SYNC system, you’ll love listening to it through the premium 10-speaker B&O sound system, and to access your social media accounts or keep your phone charged while away from home, an in-cabin Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless charging pad are also available.

Safety

A wide array of safety features is offered with this edition as well, including both a 360-degree camera system and a rearview camera. There’s also a unique cruise control system known as Hill Descent Control which makes traversing down steep slopes an easier process by controlling acceleration, allowing you to focus more on steering and braking.

If other vehicles are approaching yours on either side or from behind, both BLIS and Lane-Keeping System are there to prevent collisions by warning you of these hazards while preventing unintentional lane changes. Adaptive Cruise Control is also available, which distances the vehicle from others while maintaining your preferred speed on highways.

The 2023 Bronco is capable of tackling the most challenging off-road terrains while also keeping you entertained and comfortable on every journey. To see all of its other innovative features from inside the cabin, contact us at United Ford to schedule your test drive today.
